Parenting Support That Fits Your Life
Parenting is one of the most meaningful things you do, and sometimes one of the hardest. You want to show up with patience and warmth, but the day to day can leave you feeling drained, second-guessing yourself, or wondering if you're doing it right.
Parenting coaching is different from therapy. It's practical, present-focused, and built around what is already going well. We will not dwell on the past or diagnose anything — instead, we will work together to build the skills, strategies, and understanding that help your family thrive. Think of it as a gentle, guided conversation that leaves you with more clarity, more confidence, and a plan you can actually use.
Navigating Big Emotions
Yours and your child's. Learn what is behind the outbursts, tears, and tense moments, and how to respond in ways that calm everyone down instead of escalating the storm.
Cooperation Without Power Struggles
Move past daily battles over getting dressed, turning off screens, or doing homework. Discover ways to invite cooperation that preserve your relationship and your sanity.
Supporting Anxious Kids
When your child worries constantly, avoids things, or clings more than usual, it can be heartbreaking. Learn gentle, effective ways to validate their feelings while helping them build real coping skills.
Strengthening Your Connection
The most powerful parenting tool is a strong relationship. Find small, sustainable ways to deepen trust, joy, and closeness — even when life feels busy and stretched thin.
Who Is Parenting Coaching For?
Parenting coaching is for any caregiver who wants to feel more grounded, capable, and connected. You do not need a diagnosis or a crisis — just a space to think things through and a few practical tools to take home.
- Feeling stuck in the same frustrating patterns every day
- Overwhelmed by your child's emotional outbursts or defiance
- Navigating a separation or divorce and supporting your child through it
- Your child is going through a big transition (new school, new sibling, a move)
- Worried about your child's anxiety, friendships, or self-esteem
- Feeling unsure how to set limits without damaging your relationship
- You and your co-parent are not on the same page — and it is wearing on everyone
- Simply wanting to be the parent you know you can be — with a little guidance
Offered by a Registered Psychotherapist with specialized training in parenting support.
